Behaviour / SEMH Teaching Assistant - Brighton

Glow Educate is working with schools across Brighton, Hove & Sussex to find compassionate, adaptable Behaviour and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) Teaching Assistants who can be that person.
Pay: £13.69 - £14.50 per hour
The role:
Work closely with pupils who need additional social or emotional support
Help manage behaviour in a positive, consistent way
Support learning in the classroom and during activities like sports, art, or small-group work
Build trust and strong relationships with pupils and staff
You’ll need
Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
Good communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team
Experience in SEMH or behaviour support is helpful, but not essential, the right attitude matters most
