Cover supervisor / unqualified teacher in eastbourne

We’re looking for confident, adaptable people to step into classrooms as Unqualified Teachers (also known as Cover Supervisors) across Eastbourne.

This role gives you the chance to experience teaching life without the pressure of planning or marking. You’ll supervise lessons when the teacher is absent, keeping pupils on task and supporting their learning.

What you’ll do:

• Lead pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects

• Support pupils with behaviour and engagement

• Gain valuable experience working in secondary schools

• Build skills that can lead to teacher training in the future

This could be for you if you have:

• Experience in youth work, coaching, mentoring, childcare or support roles

• Trained as a TEFL teacher

• Confidence speaking to groups of young people

• An interest in exploring teaching as a career path
